Cameron recently joined Bad Dinosaur as one of our Project Managers. Previously, Cameron worked for a project management team in the construction sector. He is looking forward to transferring his skills to a new industry. We gave him a quick grilling to get to know him better.

Why did you move to Bad Dinosaur?

I felt ready for a new a challenge and wanted to work with like minded people. When I had my initial interview with Bad Dinosaur, I really got on with the team and knew it would be a great move for me. Luckily I was successful during the interview process and started my new role at the beginning of December.

How did you get into project management?

I started working as a trainee project manager with a local company that specialised in the design and manufacture of timber frame buildings. I love the organisation and people skills that go along with the job.

How are you settling into your new role?

I am loving it! Like anything, it will take time to get my head around the way things are done at Bad Dinosaur but so far, so good. I am looking forward to hitting the ground running in the new year.

Got any interesting hobbies?

I enjoy reading and like to be outdoors as much as possible. I have an 18-month old daughter, so most of my spare time is spent chasing after her. She keeps me on my toes!

What was the last book you read?

I am currently reading:

1. The Backyard Adventurer by Beau Miles

2. Sicily ‘43  by James Holland

The last book I read was: Waterlog by Rodger Deakin

If you could live anywhere aside from Edinburgh, where would it be?

Crieff. I love this part of Scotland.

What gig are you most looking forward to once we can again?

I would love to go see Benny Sings or Marc Rebillet.

What’s your favourite dinosaur?

Diplodocus… they always look pretty chill.

If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?

I'm pretty sure that being able to fly is the only right answer to this question?
